What an absolutely amazing day the children had.  We were met by a Sargeant from the Home Guard and a Warden.  They learnt about the different types of bombs that were dropped, learnt how to put out a fire from a bomb and how to carry people on a stretcher. They then learnt to identify German and British planes and finally how to march with a (pretend) rifle and throw a grenade.
